해석- 개인적인 생각

세상에 대해 너무 많은 것을 알게 되어서 순수했던 자신을 그리워하는 모습을 나타낸 곡 같습니다. 개인적으로 정신없어서 좋아하는 곡. 게다가 중간의 When the stars look down on me 부분의 간주가 잔잔하면서도 노래에 너무 잘맞아서 정말 좋아하는 곡입니다.

"I was talking to my friend yesterday.. and she asked me a question, she said if you could go back to when you were 6 years old right now, would you do it. I had to stop and think about it for a second. I have a two year old daughter, her name's Arrow, and she just has complete innocence. You know the innocence where you can just look in their eyes and it's just perfect happiness all the time.. Everything, every moment of every day just complete happiness in her eyes. Anyway, I don't really know the answer to that question, [...] but I wrote a song about it. About that innocence and wishing you could just capture in a bottle and just carry it around with you every day, and crack it open and sprinkle it, you know."

어제 친구랑 말하고 있었는데 만약에 지금 바로 6살이었던 때로 돌아갈 수 있다고 하면, 돌아갈꺼냐고 묻더군요. 잠시 생각해봐야 했어요. 저는 애로우라는 두살배기 딸이 있는데, 그냥 정말 순수해요. 늘 눈을 들여다보면 보이는 완벽한 순수함이죠.. 모든 것에, 매일 모든 순간에도 눈에 완벽한 행복함밖에 없어요. 쨋든, 그 질문에 대한 답은 모르지만, [...] 그것에 대한 곡은 썼어요. 순수함 자체와 그 순수함을 병에 담아 들고다니다가 가끔씩 병을 열고 뿌리고 싶은 그런 소망 말이죠.
